This is the first Thanksgiving ever that my husband Dan and I will spend alone. The older generation is gone and the younger generation now has commitments of their own. We're making a small turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, etc., but it will be very odd to sit down to a table for two.
