My friend, teacher and mentor Sonja Thomsen's work is included in the Minnesota Center for Photography's Photocentric 2007 this weekend through May 31. This juried biennial has an amazing group of midwestern photographers showing that make me proud to be from the geographic "center" of the country. If you can get to Minneapolis to enjoy this, do it.

Photocentric 2007 helps us develop a better picture of the circle we're the center of, a circle that offers a new view of what constitutes the "Midwest."
